Welcome to Health & Harmony

You have made a decision that something needs to change. That awareness is an important and necessary first step. The second step for many is seeking out a Therapist or Life Coach. There are many reasons why people come to therapy or get a coach, sometimes it is in response to anxiety or depression, or you may be dealing with a life transition such as divorce or career change. It may be for personal growth, to gain insights into behaviors, or simply to have support. Whether the goal is gaining insights into what brought you to this point in your life, processing and letting go of emotional blocks, or focusing more on goal setting and having someone to hold you accountable, I can help you.

Utilizing therapeutic modalities that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Interactive Guided Imagery, and Emotional Freedom Techniques I will act as your guide, helping you identify your inner strength and resources and supporting you in developing strategies to assist you in feeling peace and clarity so that taking the next steps will be less overwhelming. Once you have clarity and focus creating change becomes easier.

I often utilize complimentary therapies in addition to other traditional therapeutic modalities.  I am Certified In Emotional Freedom Techniques or Tapping, a Level II Reiki Practitioner, a Tameana practitioner, and a student of Guided Imagery and Meditation, and I will often use these therapies in addition to talk therapy if it feels right to you as the client. These practices are helpful in releasing stress and emotional blocks.

I also work with clients that need support in recovery from addictions or compulsive behaviors, that are in life transitions, or need support in developing a healthier lifestyle. I support clients that are in the beginning stages of change and  are looking for assistance in taking next steps, or that may be struggling with relapse prevention. If you have struggled with addiction and have gone through a treatment program, you will know that staying abstinent once you get to your home environment is totally different  and includes challenges that you may need support overcoming.

Please feel free to continue to browse my website, to learn more about me, my philosophy, and how I can help you achieve your goals. Or Contact me directly at 702-339-1165 to discuss your needs and set up your first appointment.

I am currently doing all of my counseling sessions virtually.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

A Little More About Mj

A caring and committed Psychotherapist, Certified Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner, and Recovery & Wellness Coach, I graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and a minor in Addiction Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have been practicing for over 18 years and have training in many therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I hold Certifications in Emotional Freedom Techniques, Reiki, Energy Therapy modalities, and Life Coaching as well.

My intent is to approach each client as unique and individualize treatment according to their needs and strengths. I hold the perspective that as the person desiring to make a change in your life you also hold the key to that change within. Not only are you the one that decides what that change looks like, you hold the solution to make that happen. My job is to help you discover that solution and remove the blocks that have stopped you from achieving it in the past.

As a student of Energy Psychology I use Emotional Freedom Techniques to eliminate the negative emotions and limiting beliefs that keep people stuck, to help facilitate healing, self discovery, and end self sabotaging behaviors in an effort to create a life filled with joy and abundance.

I tend to be interactive and solution focused, I will offer you feedback and strategies to start to incorporate on the path to healing and self growth.

I work with a variety of mental health issues, addictions, emotional eating, relationship issues, and life transitions. I do individual counseling with ages 16 and up. Some of the benefits you can hope to gain from counseling include:
